Thanksgiving Day

Fairhope, Fairhope, down on Mobile Bay
Fairhope, Fairhope, that's where I long to stay
Down where the roses are blooming
Down where the water's blue
Fairhope, Fairhope, I love you

There's no winter's cold in this sunny clime
Where the sweet magnolias bloom
And the gentle breeze through the tall pine trees
Fills the valley with perfume

Spending this Thanksgiving in a very quaint town in south Alabama called Fairhope. Family roots run deep throughout the town making this place feel like home. Camellia's blooming, kudzu still green, water in the bay reflecting the moon, temperatures in the 70's, spanish moss dripping from HUGE live oaks... it is definitely a southern Thanksgiving!

This guy's house is right around the corner from my mom's.
This is the fountain in front of the pier on the bay!

Hope you are as blessed as I am to be with family on this holiday!!
